Council Submits Comments on Domestic Manufacturing
The US Office of Science and Technology Policy issued a request for the public to provide comments as they develop a plan for advanced manufacturing. The fashion industry needs to be part of this conversation! The Council submitted comments calling for strategic government investment, partnerships between the public and private sectors and support for educational programs and degrees which could reinvigorate the industry providing good jobs, growing the economy across sectors and strengthening national security.
